HI!
I'm Ahaana Guggari. I'm 7-years-old and aspire to be a famous author. I'd like to tell you why...
I love to write and absolutely love-love-love our Mother Earth. With my first book "I Want to Catch A Star" and all other books I hope to write in the future, I wish to reach-out to as many reader friends as I can, to:

-
Entertain everyone with my stories and make them smile :o)
-
Encourage everyone to protect our planet and join me in helping her cool down by planting lots and lots of trees

In addition to the many things, like buying-less, recycling and reusing, etc., which we should all do, I plan to also help with donating the money from my book for tree-plantation activities. My parents have promised to help from their side as well. We also hope to volunteer our time for this activity, as soon as travelling is safer.
So, please take a look at the section below, to learn about my book and also explore some cool, some sad-n-scary and some encouraging facts about nature and Mother Earth as narrated by the amazing Sir David Attenborough. I loved how he not only shows us how we are hurting the earth, but also suggests easy steps to improve our ways.
It is important that we quickly become aware and even more important that we TAKE ACTION NOW.

THE IDEA
HOW I CAME UP WITH THE STORY
January, 2020
Space is my favorite topic. The idea of this story popped into my head while watching a NASA documentary with my parents. I mentioned it to them and they suggested I start writing it down. I'm so glad I did and as I added more to it, we all thought it could make a really cool children's book. So, here we are today :o)
THE BOOK (MY 1ST)
"I WANT TO CATCH A STAR"
October, 2020
A story about a little boy who loves stars and wishes to bring one back to Earth. It's about his adventures in space that end up in one of his wishes coming true. Just like mine, of having a pet, came true on my birthday. Hint..hint ;)
Read the book to learn more :o)

THE HOPE
THE DAMAGE IS "STILL" REVERSIBLE
Never too late to start
We, all the plant and animal species of Earth, are connected and inter-dependent on each other for survival. The big and small imbalances caused by reckless human expansion and excessive consumption of natural resources is posing a grave existential threat to all living beings. Let's learn about it and get into action-mode to change our behavior. I plan to do my part with planting trees.
